Good case studies Teaches basics of law and options that both sides have available to them. You begin to understand another way to solve problems.
The subject matter of the book is hard to understand at times and it isn't the writers fault. It is the legal system jargon and my own lack of knowledge of that jargon.Basically the books premise is that the legal system is designed by people who aren't interested in catering to their audience. So you have to learn their jargon before you can learn the legal system. I appreciate this books insightful disclaimer and did find the briefs here especially hard to understand. The rest of the writing is straight forward, its just the subject its talking about isn't.

This book is a bit pricey but it is very thorough and is great for those of you that need to learn how to read cases and learn about what the many different people in the 'law' field do. The book has model breakdowns of cases that are extremely helpful. It is a very easy, yet informative book.
