DK Eyewitness covered a lot for this city. There was a lot of information for every part of this city. The only thing that I did not like was the amount of information on food. DK Eyewitness always disappoints me in this area. This publisher should also add in things that are not so touristy. This book was filled with mostly touristy places to see or things to do, but because there is so much to see and do, this book did it's job
This is a great book to guide you to see the sites and give basic information about traveling in Istanbul. The street map is plasticized and durable and very useful. Other guides are better at hotel and restaurant recommendations, but this book doesn't purport to be a up-to-date guide to that sort of information. My wife and I use these DK guides every time we travel.
I've been to Sweden once before but plan to go again next year. I had heard good things about the Eyewitness travel guides and so decided to get it. I was pleasantly surprised. The book is durable, compact, and full of beautiful pictures of every region and city in Sweden. Love it.
This was a Christmas gift for my son and he enjoys reading travel books so he is enjoying it.
This is a very practical book for someone who has never been to Sweden. It has a lot of information in it that I would not have even thought of. Good things to know before we make a big trip.
